Responsible AI Principles
[ VERSION 1.1 // EFFECTIVE MARCH 31, 2026 ]
Rogue Active Intelligence Inc. | [DATE]
Our Commitment
At RogIQ, AI isn't a feature we bolted on — it's the foundation of everything we build. We created a platform that uses artificial intelligence to help marketing agencies and their clients move faster, create better content, and deliver more value to their customers.
With that power comes responsibility. These principles define how we think about the AI we build, the safeguards we require, and the values we're committed to upholding as AI becomes more capable and more central to how marketing gets done.
These are not aspirational statements. They are how we build.
1. AI Amplifies Human Creativity — It Doesn't Replace It
We built RogIQ to make marketers more powerful, not redundant. AI can draft, optimize, analyze, and publish — but the strategic thinking, the client relationship, the creative vision, and the judgment call belong to the human. Our tools are designed to expand what's possible for great marketers, not to remove them from the equation.
2. Humans Are Accountable for Published Content
AI can create content. Humans are responsible for it.
Every piece of content published through RogIQ — whether drafted manually, generated by AI, or published autonomously through Genius Mode — is the responsibility of the account holder and the agency or reseller who deployed it. We build our policies and our platform around this principle: accountability lives with the people and businesses using the tools, not with the AI.
We require our users to review AI-generated content before publication, configure appropriate guardrails, and maintain the ability to disable autonomous features at any time.
3. We Are Transparent About How Our AI Works
We believe customers and their clients deserve to understand how AI is being used on their behalf. That means:
- Being clear about which features use AI and how they work;
- Providing meaningful controls over AI behavior, including the ability to disable autonomous publishing;
- Disclosing which third-party AI providers we use (see our Sub-processor List);
- Not claiming AI capabilities we don't have, and not hiding limitations we do have.
We don't use black-box AI without explanation. When AI makes a recommendation or generates content, we aim to give users enough context to understand why and to evaluate whether to use it.
4. We Don't Use AI to Deceive
We will not build features designed to deceive consumers. This means:
- We do not create tools designed to produce fake reviews, fabricated testimonials, or deceptive endorsements;
- We do not create deepfakes or synthetic media designed to impersonate real individuals;
- We do not help users publish content that is deliberately false or designed to mislead;
- Where AI-generated content may require disclosure under applicable law, we support and encourage those disclosures.
Deception is not marketing. It's fraud. We won't help with it.
5. Personalization Without Privacy Invasion
AI is most powerful when it is personalized. But personalization must have limits.
We build personalization features that help agencies understand their clients' customers and serve them better — not features designed to exploit personal data, target people based on sensitive characteristics, or profile individuals in ways that violate their reasonable expectations of privacy.
We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy laws not because we have to, but because we believe they represent a reasonable minimum standard for the ethical use of personal data in marketing.
6. Genius Mode Requires Guardrails
Genius Mode — our autonomous content publishing feature — is one of the most powerful capabilities in the Platform. It is also the feature that requires the most care.
We built Genius Mode to help agencies scale their content operations. We did not build it to remove human judgment from the publishing process. Before Genius Mode is deployed, we require:
- Configuration of content parameters and brand guidelines;
- Appropriate approval workflows or content guardrails;
- Regular human review of published content;
- Explicit client authorization when Genius Mode is enabled on a client's account.
Autonomous publishing is a powerful tool. Power requires care.
7. AI-Generated Content and Intellectual Property
The law around AI-generated content and copyright is evolving rapidly. We acknowledge this uncertainty honestly.
We do not claim that AI-generated content produced through our Platform is automatically free of third-party intellectual property concerns. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is eligible for copyright protection. We advise users to review AI-generated content for potential IP issues before publishing.
We build our AI systems to generate original content and to avoid reproducing protected works, but we cannot guarantee this in all cases. Users remain responsible for ensuring the content they publish does not infringe third-party rights.
8. Regulated Industries: Responsibility Stays with the User
Marketing in healthcare, finance, legal, real estate, and other regulated industries is subject to specific laws and professional standards. AI doesn't know which industry you're in or what compliance obligations apply to your clients.
We provide tools. We do not provide compliance. If you use RogIQ to serve clients in regulated industries, you are responsible for ensuring that content complies with all applicable regulations, including advertising standards, disclosure requirements, and licensing rules.
AI features should not be used to generate individualized professional advice — medical diagnoses, specific investment recommendations, legal opinions — without human expert review and required disclaimers.
9. We Do Not Enable Harmful or Hateful Content
This is a firm line.
RogIQ's AI features will not generate content that: targets individuals or groups with hate or violence based on protected characteristics; exploits, harms, or sexualizes children; facilitates terrorism or mass violence; or constitutes illegal discrimination.
These restrictions are built into our systems and reflected in our Acceptable Use Policy. Users who attempt to generate such content will have their access terminated.
10. We Improve Our Platform Responsibly
We use data from how our platform is used to improve it. We do not use your customers' personal data to train AI models that serve other customers in identifiable form. We use aggregated and anonymized data to improve AI performance, and we maintain strict controls on how AI model training is conducted.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use data collected through the Platform for purposes unrelated to providing the Services.
11. We Choose AI Partners Carefully
RogIQ's AI capabilities are built in partnership with leading AI providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic. We choose partners whose values, safety practices, and data protection commitments align with ours. We enter into data processing agreements with all AI providers and require contractual protections for customer data.
As the AI landscape evolves, we will continue to evaluate our partnerships against our principles.
12. These Principles Are a Living Document
AI is moving fast. The law is catching up. Best practices are still being written. We know that these principles will need to evolve as the technology, the regulatory landscape, and the industry mature.
We commit to reviewing and updating these principles at least annually, and to communicating material changes to our users.
We also commit to listening. If you have concerns or suggestions about how RogIQ is using AI, please reach out to us at [[email protected]].
